223rd Street
The 223rd Street is seen as an important connection between Marine View Drive and the waterfront. There is an uninterrupted visual axis down 223rd Street to the water, directly on axis with the terminus of the sea wall. The pedestrian experience can be enhanced by including ground level retail, providing continuous sidewalks and greenery, and adding public art sculptures that draw pedestrians along 223rd Street.
