Fall City 2013 – Central Crossing: Interstitial Connectivity
SPRING 2013
Interstitial Connectivity
The community market is a commercial structure that can support daily, weekly, or yearly events like farmers markets and commercial space for local artists. The space includes an indoor flexible space that allows for movement within and around various tables for vendors and an outdoor lawn space for temporary tents. When not occupied by vendors, the lawn can allow for a place for people to linger, with benches running along the path. Two paths run along both sides of the building, connecting the structure with the main street and the alley behind.
