Snoqualmie 2016 – Linking Destinations

SPRING 2016

Linking Destinations – Centennial Log

The Centennial Log is housed under a section of the old Wayerhauser Mill building in Railroad Community Park. It is an example of the type of logs that used to be plentiful in the Snoqualmie region prior to the logging industry. While visitors can get a clear idea of how wide these trees could have been, it’s hard to imagine how tall it originally was in relation to anything. With heights reaching up to 300 feet, these old growth trees were truly giants.
